Forgive me for intruding on your sacred little world. From under what rock did you just recently emerge? Make your “own personal blog” open only to sycophants if you are too sensitive to hear something other than, “Oh brilliant.” I didn’t like it and frankly I don’t like you.

Well improving my pronunciation of a language that I don’t speak isn’t very high on my priority list. And it certainly isn’t important to the video in any way. I chose French because of the style and genre I was parodying, not because of my brilliant pronunciation. I’d never spoken more than 3 words in French before I made the film.

I certainly can take criticism, I just find it amusing that of the hundreds of thousands of people who have seen this, you are the first person to leave me any sort of negative comment. (save for the brilliant comment on YouTube: “holy shit i saw this video in juvee oh yeh it sux and makes no sense french pp, are retarded”…isn’t that nice company to be in?)

And this isn’t exactly some film criticism forum where I am in search of feedback, it’s my personal blog. So please jump off your high horse. Whatever brought Henri into your lap, I didn’t force you to watch it, nor did I request your amazing powers of criticism. You didn’t get the film, it didn’t work for you, fine, I get that. If you found it “negative”, then the humor clearly wasn’t working on you. And again, that’s fine. But when you go onto someone’s personal blog to trash something they’ve done, that betrays a pretty negative side to your own personality, wouldn’t you say?

At the end of the day, it’s a 2 minute video about a cat. If you think that is worth your negative feedback, you should reevaluate your priorities.

Well face it, not everyone likes your “art” or whatever it is. I found it boring, contrived and a bit negative. I find it far sadder that you cannot take an honest comment. Many people liked it and I didn’t. get over it. And so as not to further confuse you, I retract my “Sorry.”
Perhaps you can take it constructively, improve your pronunciation (which needs it), and you will come back and thank me.
